Online Water Bill provides cloud software for water association billing, customer portals, payments, meter reading workflows, notices, and related features. Features available to you depend on your association’s configuration and your role (admin, bookkeeper, customer, etc.).
We may update, improve, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, but we work to keep the platform reliable (see our Business Continuity Statement and System Status page).
Online Water Bill may offer SMS (text message) alerts for water billing and account notices. This section is the SMS program description used for carrier registration (including 10DLC) and customer disclosure.
Online Water Bill Alerts (transactional / account notices for participating water associations).
Messages are sent by Online Water Bill LLC on behalf of your water association from (479) 425-9700 using our messaging provider. Message content relates to your association account (for example bill available, payment reminder, due-date or service notices, and similar account alerts).
You may receive SMS only if a valid mobile number is on file and you (or your association, with your consent) have opted in to text alerts. Providing a mobile number and agreeing to receive texts constitutes consent to receive automated and/or manual SMS messages from Online Water Bill related to your water billing account. Consent is not a condition of purchasing water service from your association; you may choose email or other notice methods where available.
Message frequency varies. Typical volume is a few messages per billing cycle, plus occasional account or service notices. Exact frequency depends on your association’s billing schedule and account activity.
Message and data rates may apply. Check your wireless plan with your carrier.
Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (479) 530-2705 or info@onlinewaterbill.com.
Reply STOP to cancel SMS alerts. You may also update your phone preferences in your Online Water Bill account settings (when available) or ask your association to remove your mobile number from SMS alerts. After you opt out, you may receive a final confirmation message.
Mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Security & Privacy Policy for how we collect and use information, including SMS delivery through service providers.
SMS availability depends on your wireless carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Online payments are processed by Stripe. Online Water Bill does not store full payment card numbers on association servers. Payment disputes for water service charges are handled with your association; platform payment processing is subject to Stripe’s terms and our privacy practices.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Online Water Bill LLC is a software provider; your water association remains responsible for rates, billing decisions, customer service policies, and utility obligations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Online Water Bill LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability related to the service is limited to the fees paid to us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (or, for end customers who do not pay us directly, one hundred U.S. dollars).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes is in the state or federal courts located in Arkansas, unless your Service Agreement with us states otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the website, platform, or SMS program after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
